Brad Piver is the founder and originating steward of Rule76. His professional experience spans enterprise transformation, technology, consulting, commercial strategy, sales, alliances, leadership, and value realization. Across that work, recurring questions about evidence, value, judgment, action, learning, and accountability eventually became the patterns from which Rule76 emerged. But this page is not the Origin story. It is about the person responsible for stewarding the work today.

Rule76 is being developed as a continuously evolving governed operating system and a body of practical applications. Brad’s role today is not simply to explain the system. It is to steward its continued development.

WHAT THE FOUNDER OWES THE WORK
Build it so others can understand it.
Govern it so others can challenge it.
Preserve it so others can inherit it.
A founder can become the greatest source of provenance for an idea. A founder can also become its greatest dependency. Rule76 should not require permanent access to Brad Piver in order to remain understandable or useful. The responsibility of stewardship is therefore larger than authorship.
01 / PRESERVE THE ORIGIN — Remain honest about where the work came from and what was recognized only later.
02 / PRESERVE THE DISTINCTIONS — Do not allow evidence, assumption, hypothesis, inference, confidence, judgment, and fact to become interchangeable because simpler language is convenient.
03 / WELCOME CHALLENGE — Allow evidence, use, and thoughtful criticism to expose weaknesses in the work.
04 / LEARN WITHOUT ERASURE — Permit understanding to change while preserving why it changed.

The goal is not to make Rule76 dependent on its founder.
The goal is to make the work worthy of enduring beyond him.
Foundership remains in the provenance.
Stewardship prepares the inheritance.
